Job Summary
The Technical Procurement Manager is responsible for cost-effective, strategic sourcing of specialized engineering equipment and raw materials required for the Bio-CNG plant, maintaining a strict balance between cost and technical compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Ecosystem Development: Build a reliable vendor database for specialized components like high-pressure CNG compressors, gas storage cascades, biogas membranes, and digester agitators.
- RFQs & Commercial Negotiation: Issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs), prepare technical-commercial comparative statements, and negotiate pricing and payment terms.
- Supply Chain Logistics: Manage the transportation and heavy-lifting logistics of over-dimensional cargo (like pre-fabricated digester parts or heavy compressors) to rural or semi-urban site locations.
- Quality Inspections: Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) alongside the engineering team before dispatching high-value machinery.
Key Technical Skills & Software
- Software: ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, or Zoho Inventory).
- Core Skills: Material costing, international logistics/Incoterms, understanding of engineering datasheets and purchase order legalities.
