Position: Language Quality Reviewer (Spanish / German / French)

About the Role
We are looking for a native or near-native Language Quality Reviewer for Spanish, German, or French conversational voice data projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing natural conversational scripts, reviewing recorded audio conversations, validating linguistic quality, ensuring technical compliance, and coordinating with participants to achieve client-approved quality standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Script Creation & Validation
- Develop natural, topic-based conversational scripts in the assigned language.
- Create realistic phone conversations between two participants.
- Maintain a balanced Male:Female (1:1) conversation ratio.
- Ensure each conversation topic includes approximately 30 minutes of dialogue per participant (approximately 60 minutes per group).
- Review scripts for grammar, vocabulary, cultural relevance, and conversational flow.
2. Recording Quality Review
- Review submitted recordings for language accuracy and completeness.
- Evaluate pronunciation, fluency, native accent consistency, and overall naturalness.
- Ensure conversations sound spontaneous rather than scripted.
- Verify that recordings follow the approved scripts and assigned topics.
3. Technical Quality Verification
Review recordings to ensure:
- 48 kHz sampling rate
- 16-bit depth
- Mono channel
- WAV file format
- Correct recording duration
- No clipping, distortion, echo, excessive background noise, or microphone issues
- Proper file naming format: [GroupID][ParticipantID][TopicID].wav
- Complete recordings with no missing or duplicated content
4. Quality Documentation
- Record review findings and quality scores.
- Maintain rejection logs with detailed feedback.
- Coordinate re-recording requests with participants when necessary.
- Verify corrected recordings before final approval.
5. Collaboration
- Work closely with Project Coordinators, Language Quality Head, participants, and the Client Quality Team.
- Complete assigned reviews within project timelines.
- Support continuous quality improvement throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in Spanish, German, or French.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of grammar, pronunciation, regional accents, and conversational language.
- Experience in audio review, transcription, localization, or linguistic quality assurance is preferred.
- Ability to identify pronunciation, fluency, and dialogue quality issues.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on AI speech data collection or voice annotation projects.
- Familiarity with audio editing or playback software such as Audacity or Adobe Audition.
- Knowledge of speech quality standards.
- Experience using Google Drive, spreadsheets, and quality tracking systems.
