About the Job
We are seeking a qualified and experienced professional to coordinate and manage the daily telecast operations of PM eVidya channels. The role involves overseeing content production, ensuring seamless stakeholder coordination, and maintaining compliance with programme guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage daily telecast schedules for PM eVidya channels
- Ensure seamless coordination between stakeholders, faculty, institutions, and the BISAG team
- Monitor uninterrupted transmission and resolve operational issues in real time
- Maintain programme logs, telecast records, and compliance with PM eVidya guidelines
- Oversee timely availability and delivery of curriculum-based educational content
- Maintain documentation of all records under PM eVidya channels
- Lead and manage the production team to ensure smooth execution of projects
- Oversee digital content development, ensuring alignment with defined genre and channel objectives
- Conceptualize, design, and develop detailed storyboards prior to production, including shot composition, sequencing, and duration
- Apply creative thinking to enhance content quality and align it with the channel's thematic and stylistic direction
- Ensure all content meets prescribed duration requirements and is submitted on time to the Quality Check team
Qualifications
- Four-year Graduate degree or equivalent PG degree in Mass Communication / Visual Communication / Electronic Media with 55% marks
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as per the requirements of the programme/project
Desirable Qualifications
- Ph.D. in a relevant subject
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, SPSS, and other software used in data analysis or relevant to the subject/project
- Experience in data handling/analysis and report writing
Preferred
- Candidates who have completed the Mahatma Gandhi National Fellowship (MGNF) programme
Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Hindi language preferred)
- Proficiency in MS Office, project monitoring tools, and online collaboration platforms
- Strong ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and manage timelines effectively
Age Limit
Not more than 45 years (relaxed up to 70 years for retired faculty members, as per GoI norms)
