S.R. Oil Speciality Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced Plant / Operations Supervisor to oversee daily production, loading, and operational workflows at our Sengadu facility. The candidate will manage workforce scheduling, ensure safety and quality standards, monitor material handling, and support smooth coordination between plant workers, logistics, and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Workforce Supervision: Manage daily shift activities, assign tasks to operators, loading staff, and helpers, and maintain shift attendance registers.
- Operational Workflow: Monitor plant processes, fluid filling/blending operations, packaging, and dispatch preparations to ensure targets are met.
- Safety & Quality Compliance: Enforce shop-floor safety guidelines, wear PPE compliance, maintain clean work environments, and adhere to quality control checks.
- Stock & Loading Support: Oversee vehicle loading/unloading operations, verify physical stock against dispatch orders, and coordinate directly with transport teams.
- Equipment & Reporting: Perform basic checks on machinery, report maintenance issues promptly, and submit shift completion reports to management.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Higher Secondary (12th Pass), Diploma, or Graduation in any stream.
- Experience: Minimum 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience as a Supervisor in a manufacturing plant, chemical unit, warehouse, or industrial facility.
- Key Skills: Team management, shop-floor supervision, basic reporting, and practical problem-solving skills.
- Location Preference: Candidates residing in or near Sriperumbudur, Sengadu, or Kanchipuram district with local commute availability.
- Languages: Fluency in Tamil is essential for daily staff coordination; basic understanding of English is preferred.
