We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Consultant Lab Technician for a 2-month contractual assignment to support our laboratory operations. The candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, analyzing, and maintaining laboratory samples while ensuring compliance with quality standards and healthcare regulations. The role requires close collaboration with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver accurate and timely diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, label, and process patient specimens according to laboratory protocols.
- Perform routine laboratory investigations and diagnostic tests.
- Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of laboratory results.
- Verify specimen quality before testing and report any discrepancies.
- Follow laboratory quality assurance and infection control procedures.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals regarding test requests and results.
- Maintain laboratory inventory and report shortages of reagents and consumables.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of biological samples and medical waste.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with organizational policies.
- Assist in resolving laboratory-related issues during the contract period.
- Perform any additional laboratory duties assigned by the Laboratory Manager.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
- Valid laboratory technician certification/license (if applicable as per local regulations).
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a clinical or diagnostic laboratory is preferred.
- Freshers with relevant internship experience may also apply.
Required Skills:

Pay: ₹5,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
