Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and engaging Social Studies Teacher to teach History, Civics, Geography, and Economics at the high school level. The ideal candidate should be able to make subjects interactive, relevant, and easy to understand.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Social Studies to Grades 6–10 (State/CBSE syllabus)
- Develop lesson plans that encourage critical thinking and discussion
- Use real-life examples, case studies, and activities for better understanding
- Conduct tests, assignments, and evaluate student progress
- Maintain discipline and ensure active classroom participation
- Support students with remedial classes where required
- Participate in academic planning, meetings, and school events
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in History / Political Science / Geography / Social Studies
- B.Ed preferred
- Minimum 2+ years of teaching experience (school level)
- Strong communication and storytelling ability
- Good classroom management skills
- Passion for teaching and student engagement
