Whether you are a young advocate building an independent practice, an established independent practitioner, or a lawyer looking to take up additional freelance assignments alongside your regular practice, RawLaw provides a platform to discover legal requirements and connect with prospective clients as well as fellow advocates.
What can you do through RawLaw?
- Explore legal requirements posted by users according to their practice area, location and professional expertise.
- Respond to requirements that fall within their area of practice and indicate their availability, proposed scope of professional assistance and professional fees.
- Consider assignments involving legal consultation, drafting, documentation, legal notices, court or tribunal appearances, police-station assistance and other professional legal work.
- Communicate with users regarding their legal requirements before independently deciding whether to accept an engagement.
- Take up suitable professional assignments depending upon their existing commitments and availability, without fixed working hours or mandatory assignments.
- Connect with advocates practising in other cities, districts and States.
- Coordinate with local advocates for court appearances, filing, procedural assistance and other professional requirements outside their regular jurisdiction.

Designed Around Independent Legal Practice
RawLaw does not require advocates to alter their existing professional arrangements. An advocate may continue with his or her independent practice, chamber, existing professional engagements and court work while using the platform to explore requirements relevant to their practice.
There are no fixed working hours or compulsory assignments. Each advocate independently determines whether a particular requirement falls within his or her expertise and availability and whether to undertake the professional engagement.
