SAP SD Consultant E Invoicing SAP DRC Vertex
Role Overview
SAP SD Consultant responsible for designing and enabling OrdertoCash OTC processes integrated with SAP DRC e invoicing Vertex tax engine and government portals ensuring accurate billing tax compliance and electronic invoice submission
Key Responsibilities
1 OrdertoCash OTC Process Management
Configure and manage endtoend SD processes
oSales Order Delivery Billing Invoice
Ensure seamless flow of data from order creation to e invoice generation
Support intercompany billing and crosscompany scenarios
2 E Invoicing Enablement Customer Billing
Enable e invoicing processes for
oCustomer invoices SD Billing FI AR
Ensure invoices are
oCompliant with countryspecific formats
oReady for submission via SAP DRC
Support invoice validation rejection handling and reprocessing
3 Vertex Tax Integration Sales
Ensure accurate tax calculation for
oSales orders
oBilling documents invoices
Validate integration between
oSAP SD Vertex tax engine
Perform data mapping
oCustomer shipto material pricing conditions
Ensure correct tax determination before invoice submission
4 Pricing Output Determination
Configure and maintain
oPricing procedures
oTax condition types
oOutput determination invoice forms edocuments
Ensure pricing aligns with
oTax calculation logic Vertex
oE invoicing submission requirements
5 SAP DRC E Invoicing Integration
Ensure SD billing documents are
oGenerated as E Documents
oSuccessfully processed via DRC cockpit
Support
oInvoice validation rules
oSubmission workflows
oStatus tracking acceptedrejected
6 Government Portal Compliance
Validate endtoend flow
oBilling DRC Government portal Acknowledgement
Ensure compliance with
oCountryspecific e invoicing mandates
Handle
oRejection scenarios
oError corrections and resubmission
7 Cross Functional Coordination
Work closely with
oFICO AR postings
oMM intercompany procurement linkage if needed
oABAP enhancementsforms
oCPIBTP team integration layer
Support multicountry rollout programs
8 Testing Support
Prepare and execute
oBusiness scenarios for SD and billing
Support
oSIT UAT Go Live Hypercare
Troubleshoot
oBilling and pricing issues
oTax and compliance errors
Required Skills
Functional Skills
Strong experience in
oSAP SD OTC Billing Pricing
Deep understanding of
oInvoice lifecycle Order Delivery Billing Accounting
Knowledge of
oE invoicing regulations
oIndirect taxation VATGST
Technical Awareness
Understanding of
oSAP DRC E Document framework
oIntegration concepts CPI APIs IDocs
Ability to collaborate with ABAP and integration teams
Good to Have
Experience with
oVertex tax engine integration
oMulticountry e invoicing rollout
Exposure to
oS4HANA transformation
Experience
6 to 10 years SAP SD experience
Minimum 1 to 2 implementations in e-invoicing DRC tax integration
Experience in global programs preferred
Skills
