Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to lead our Human Resources function. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping HR strategies, managing employee relations, and supporting our rapidly growing team. This role will be responsible for talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, compliance, and HR strategy alignment with business objectives. The HR Manager will ensure that our workplace remains inclusive, engaging, and compliant with labor laws while fostering a culture of continuous growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
1. Lead the full-cycle recruitment process, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and on
boarding.
2. Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the EdTech industry.
3. Collaborate with department heads to understand staffing needs and create job descriptions aligned
with company goals.
- Employee Relations & Engagement
1. Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention.
2. Address employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and provide guidance on performance improvement
plans.
3. Organize team-building activities and employee recognition programs to boost morale.
- HR Policies & Compliance
1. Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with legal requirements.
2. Ensure the company adheres to labor laws, employment standards, and industry regulations.
3. Manage employee records, benefits administration, and payroll processing.
- Performance Management
1. Oversee the performance appraisal process and support goal-setting and career development
initiatives.
2. Implement strategies to improve employee performance and productivity.
3. Assist managers in developing and maintaining performance improvement plans.
- Training & Development
1. Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs to enhance employee skills.
2. Promote a culture of continuous learning and development within the organization.
3. Manage the on boarding process to ensure new hires are successfully integrated into the company.
- HR Strategy & Planning
1. Work closely with senior management to develop HR strategies aligned with the company’s growth
objectives.
2. Conduct regular HR audits and provide insights on workforce trends, compensation, and employee
satisfaction.
3. Lead initiatives to improve workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role, preferably in the EdTech or
tech industry.
3. Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and employment regulations.
4. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
5. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
6. Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a strong ability to adapt to change.
7. Proficiency in HR software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
