Key Responsibilities :
Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
- Implement and monitor all Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws, factory safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Perform Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) & and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Ensure proper maintenance of fire extinguishers, hydrants, alarms, emergency exits, and firefighting equipment.
- Conduct periodic fire drills and emergency evacuation exercises.
- Investigate workplace accidents, near misses, and unsafe incidents.
- Conduct root cause analysis and prepare investigation reports.
- Ensure compliance with Factory Act, Occupational Health & Safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
- Maintain all statutory safety records, permits, registers, and documentation.
- Conduct safety induction training for new employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Organize toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and monthly awareness programs.
- Ensure proper availability and usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Ensure safe handling and storage of inks, solvents, adhesives, chemicals, and other hazardous materials used in flexible packaging manufacturing.
- Monitor pollution control measures and environmental compliance.
- Support sustainability initiatives related to energy conservation, waste reduction, and recycling.
