Lead – Advertising & Branding
Reporting To: Managing Director & Executive Director
Location: Mumbai
Qualification: MBA in Marketing, Advertising, Brand Management, or a related discipline
Experience: 10+ years
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Head – Advertising & Branding to lead the
organization’s brand positioning, corporate communications, and integrated marketing
initiatives. The incumbent will be responsible for strengthening brand equity, driving impactful
advertising campaigns, managing media relations, and ensuring consistent brand
communication across all channels.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in advertising, brand management,
corporate communications, and integrated marketing, with proven experience in leading ATL,
BTL, digital, and PR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Marketing
- Develop and execute comprehensive brand strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Drive brand positioning and ensure a consistent brand identity across all customer
touchpoints.
- Plan and implement integrated marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility and
customer engagement.
- Work closely with the Managing Director, Marketing, and Sales teams to identify target
markets, define campaign objectives, and optimize marketing budgets.
Advertising & Campaign Management
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of ATL, BTL, digital, social media, and
experiential marketing campaigns.
- Manage media planning, media buying, and negotiations to achieve maximum visibility
at optimal costs.
- Evaluate campaign effectiveness using relevant KPIs and recommend improvements for
future initiatives.
Corporate Communications & Public Relations
- Lead corporate communication strategies to strengthen the company’s reputation and
public image.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media houses, industry associations,
influencers, and external stakeholders.
- Oversee press releases, corporate announcements, executive communications, and
crisis communication when required.
Creative & Brand Communication
- Direct the development of all marketing communication materials including brochures,
presentations, advertisements, website content, corporate films, and promotional
collateral.
- Ensure consistency in brand messaging, visual identity, and communication standards
across all platforms.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external creative agencies, designers, printers,
and production vendors.
Market Research & Consumer Insights
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends, customer
preferences, and emerging opportunities.
- Recommend innovative marketing initiatives based on consumer insights and industry
trends.
Vendor & Agency Management
- Manage relationships with advertising agencies, media partners, digital agencies, event
companies, and production vendors.
- Ensure quality execution, timely delivery, and cost optimization across all marketing
projects.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the branding and communication team.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Manage multiple high-priority projects while ensuring adherence to timelines and
budgets.
Desired Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in Brand Management, Advertising, Corporate Communications, and
Marketing Strategy.
- Hands-on experience in ATL, BTL, Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, Public
Relations, and Events.
- Strong media planning, media buying, and vendor negotiation capabilities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Technical Skills
