Position: Primary Mathematics & Science Teacher

About the Role
Ekya School is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and student-centric Primary Mathematics & Science Teacher to inspire young learners and create engaging classroom experiences. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering conceptual understanding through interactive and activity-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics and Science lessons for primary grade students.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Develop lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum and learning objectives.
- Assess student learning through assignments, projects, classwork, and periodic assessments.
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry among students.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies, educational technology, and hands-on activities to enhance learning.
- Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain classroom discipline and ensure the safety and well-being of students.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, training sessions, and other academic activities.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to support students' holistic development.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: B.Sc. with B.Ed. (Mandatory)
- Experience: Minimum 1+ year of teaching experience in Primary Mathematics and Science.
- Strong command of Mathematics and Science concepts.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Passion for working with young learners and promoting experiential learning.
- Immediate joiners will be given preference.
