Key Responsibilities1. Curriculum Planning & Instruction
- Plan and deliver lessons strictly aligned with the syllabus and guidelines.
- Cover prescribed textbooks such as NCERT English textbooks (e.g., Beehive, Moments, Flamingo, Vistas).
- Develop students’ skills in comprehension, grammar, creative writing, and analytical writing.
- Guide students in literary analysis of prose, poetry, and drama.
- Prepare students effectively for CBSE Board Examinations.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Design question papers as per CBSE examination patterns and blueprint.
- Conduct periodic tests, assignments, and internal assessments.
- Evaluate answer scripts in accordance with CBSE marking schemes.
- Maintain accurate academic records and prepare report cards.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
Classroom Management
- Maintain a disciplined, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Implement school policies and CBSE guidelines effectively.
- Encourage active participation and discussion-based learning.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Master’s Degree in English (M.A. English preferred).
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience teaching English at secondary/senior secondary level.
