Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to manage procurement, vendor development, inventory planning, logistics, and supplier performance for a machinery manufacturing business.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic procurement of mechanical and electrical components.
- Vendor identification and development.
- Supplier negotiations.
- Cost reduction initiatives.
- Inventory planning and control.
- Logistics coordination.
- Vendor performance monitoring.
- Supplier quality management.
- Cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Production and Stores.
- Risk management and alternate sourcing.
Candidate ProfileEducation
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Mechanical Engineering, Logistics or equivalent.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years in Supply Chain Management.
- Manufacturing industry experience is mandatory.
