We are looking for a UPS Junior Engineer with 0–12 months of experience to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of UPS systems, inverters, and batteries at customer sites.
Freshers with a Diploma/B.E. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering who are interested in field service and UPS systems are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installation, testing, commissioning, and servicing of Online UPS, Offline UPS, and Inverter systems.
- Visit customer sites for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Perform basic UPS troubleshooting and fault identification.
- Check input/output voltage, battery voltage, charging current, load, and other basic parameters.
- Assist in battery inspection, replacement, and battery backup testing.
- Support UPS shifting, dismantling, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Identify basic electrical and UPS-related issues and report them to the senior engineer.
- Maintain proper service reports after every site visit.
- Follow safety procedures while working with electrical equipment and batteries.
- Coordinate with senior engineers and customers during service activities.
- Maintain service tools, equipment, and site-related documentation.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of Electrical/Electronics concepts.
- Basic understanding of AC/DC voltage, current, batteries, MCBs, cables, and electrical connections.
- Willingness to learn UPS systems and troubleshooting.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work at customer locations and travel within Bangalore and nearby areas.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to prepare service reports.
- Ability to work independently after receiving proper training.
Qualification
- Diploma / ITI / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, EEE, ECE, or related field.
- 0–12 months of experience in UPS, inverter, battery, electrical, or related field preferred.
- Freshers can apply.
Additional Requirements
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites.
- Candidates interested in developing a career in UPS and power backup systems are preferred.
