Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business leads through cold calling, field visits, and referrals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Understand customer packaging requirements and propose suitable product solutions
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, proposals, and orders
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and track competitor activity
- Coordinate with production and dispatch teams to ensure timely order fulfilment
- Maintain accurate records of leads, visits, and sales
- Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and client meetings as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, or similar role
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Willingness to travel locally for client visits
- Proficiency in Tamil and English; Hindi is a plus
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, email)
- Two-wheeler with valid driving license preferred
