Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist to collect blood samples and other specimens from patients accurately, safely, and efficiently. The candidate should ensure proper patient identification, specimen labeling, handling, and transportation while maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect blood samples from patients using appropriate venipuncture and other blood collection techniques.
- Verify patient identity and ensure correct labeling of all specimens.
- Explain the collection procedure to patients and help them feel comfortable.
- Follow all safety, infection-control, and biomedical waste disposal protocols.
- Handle patients carefully, including children, elderly patients, and individuals with difficult veins.
- Ensure proper collection, storage, and transportation of specimens to the laboratory.
- Maintain accurate records of samples collected.
- Monitor and maintain adequate stock of collection tubes, needles, gloves, and other supplies.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the sample collection area.
- Attend home collection visits, if required.
- Report any collection-related issues or patient concerns to the concerned laboratory staff or supervisor.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality guidelines at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Phlebotomy / Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT/MLT) or relevant healthcare qualification.
- Relevant experience in blood collection and specimen handling is preferred.
- Knowledge of venipuncture techniques and laboratory safety procedures.

Experience
Experience: 1–3 years preferred.
Freshers with appropriate training may also apply.
Working Conditions
The Phlebotomist may be required to work in the diagnostic center, hospital, clinic, or visit patients for home sample collection as per operational requirements.
Pay: ₹7,500.00 - ₹8,500.00 per month
