Stylam Industries Ltd. is looking for a skilled and hardworking Fitter to join our maintenance team. The candidate will be responsible for installation, fitting, maintenance, and repair of machinery and mechanical equipment used in manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate should have experience in industrial maintenance and strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, install, align, and fit mechanical equipment and machinery parts.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery.
- Read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and machine layouts.
- Repair and replace damaged machine components, bearings, shafts, belts, and pipelines.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and measuring instruments effectively.
- Ensure smooth operation of production machines with minimum downtime.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for troubleshooting.
- Maintain maintenance records and daily work reports.
- Follow safety standards, PPE guidelines, and company policies.
Required Qualifications:
- ITI in Fitter Trade (Mandatory)
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering will be an added advantage.
Experience:
- Fresher to 5 Years of experience in manufacturing industry preferred.
- Experience in laminate, plywood, FMCG, or industrial plant maintenance will be preferred.
Skills Required:
- Mechanical maintenance knowledge
- Machine fitting and alignment
- Preventive & breakdown maintenance
- Knowledge of bearings, pumps, gearboxes, and conveyors
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Team handling and coordination skills
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
