Job Summary:
The Office assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day school operations, with a strong focus on administrative coordination and facility management. The role requires close collaboration with the admin team and school management to maintain an efficient, safe, and well-organized school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Coordination
- Support daily administrative operations of the school.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain records, reports, and documentation related to school operations.
2. Facility Management
- Oversee maintenance of school infrastructure including classrooms, washrooms, playground, and common areas.
- Ensure proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, and other essential services.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for repairs and maintenance.
- Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards across the campus.
3. Daily Operations Management
- Supervise day-to-day school activities and ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage logistics related to school events, transport, and general arrangements.
- Ensure availability of required materials and supplies.
4. Coordination & Communication
- Act as a bridge between management, admin staff, and support staff.
- Ensure timely communication and execution of instructions from management.
- Coordinate with security personnel and housekeeping teams.
5. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety norms and school policies.
- Monitor security arrangements and emergency preparedness.
- Assist in audits, inspections, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 12th Pass / Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in administration/facility management (school experience preferred).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance systems (electrical/plumbing/civil).
- Ability to handle vendors and manage teams effectively.
