Job Summary
We are seeking an Account Executive to manage financial records and international trade compliance at our food manufacturing plant. You will oversee daily accounting, manage production costs, and handle the financial and regulatory logistics of importing raw materials and exporting finished food products.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. GST, TDS,
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Oversee general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, month-end close procedures, and account reconciliations.
- Support regulatory reporting requirements by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with governmental regulations.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support organizational decision-making. Utilize accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or similar platforms to streamline financial management processes.
- Perform cash management activities to optimize liquidity and monitor cash flow positions.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and summaries for management review, highlighting key insights and variances.
- Handle customs documentation, import/export duties, and international , Track freight, logistics, raw materials, labor, and overhead costs.
- Maintain accurate general ledger accounts for domestic and international sales.
- Manage international multi-currency invoicing and customer billing.
- Meet food industry tax, FDA, and global regulatory trade standards.
- Perform monthly bank, currency, and inventory reconciliations. Create monthly profit and loss statements including landed cost analysis.
- Conduct regular physical counts of domestic and transit stock.
Qualifications
- Education. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or International Trade.
- Experience. Minimum 3 years in manufacturing accounting with import/export exposure.
- Trade expertise. Deep knowledge of Letters of Credit, Incoterms, and customs regulations.
- Industry knowledge. Experience in food production or perishable goods logistics is preferred.
- Software skills. Proficiency in global ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle) and Excel
