About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in business development, client coordination, event management, and lead generation. You will work closely with the Business Development team to support client engagement, manage registrations, coordinate events, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
Cold calling and coordination
- Support the Business Development team by engaging potential clients and partners for upcoming events and meetings.
- Conduct cold calls and follow-ups while coordinating registrations and documentation processes.
Data Base Management
- Create and manage Google Forms for registrations, surveys, feedback, and data collection.
- Maintain accurate client records and update databases using Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
Event Planning and Management assistance
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing events, workshops, and corporate engagement activities while managing participant registrations and event coordination.
- Provide timely updates and professional support to clients through phone, email, and other communication channels.
Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, client relationship, and stakeholder coordination abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Google Forms, and Google Docs).
- Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Basic understanding of event planning, coordination, and execution.
- Knowledge of the CSR and NGO ecosystem will be considered an added advantage.
Eligibility:
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- Prior internship or experience in business development, sales, customer service, or event management is a plus but not mandatory.
