Job Summary
Mainframe support junior is responsible for assisting in the maintenance and support of batch cycle,
learning from senior Team members and develop technicall skills in mainframe batch support
Key Responsibilities
1.Assist in monitoring mainframe batch applications systems and respond for alerts and abends and application issues
2.Support senior staff in trouble shooting and resolving issues
3.Partcipates in system maintenace tasks , such as backups and updates
4.Recurring issue(KDEB) need to be documented for future refernce with solutions
Skill Requirements
Mandatory skill competency :
JCL: - Basic
COBOL : -Basic
DB2 : - Basic
CICS: - Basic
Probelm solving : - Basic
Communication skills : - intermediate
Incident management : -Basic
Other Requirements
1. Itil Foundation Certification Is Optional But Valuable For This Role.
