Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Commis I specializing in Indian cuisine to join our kitchen team. The candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting senior chefs in daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook Indian dishes as per standard recipes
- Assist in daily kitchen operations and food preparation
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area
- Follow food safety and hygiene standards (FSSAI guidelines)
- Monitor stock levels and inform seniors for replenishment
- Assist senior chefs (CDP/Sous Chef) when required
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
Requirements:
- Proven experience as Commis I or similar role in Indian cuisine
- Strong knowledge of Indian cooking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Team player with good communication skills
- Knowledge of kitchen hygiene and safety standards
- Willingness to work in shifts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts
- Experience in hotels, restaurants, or cloud kitchens
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹27,000.00 per month
