Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of API manufacturing equipment. Troubleshoot and rectify mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation faults to minimize downtime. Maintain reactors, centrifuges, dryers, filters, blenders, mills, pumps, compressors, vacuum systems, heat exchangers, and utility equipment. Execute calibration, installation, commissioning, and qualification support for plant equipment. Ensure proper maintenance of utilities including boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, HVAC, RO/DM water systems, and nitrogen systems. Maintain equipment history cards, maintenance logs, and documentation in accordance with cGMP requirements. Coordinate with Production, QA, QC, EHS, and external vendors during maintenance activities. Ensure timely availability of engineering spares and consumables. Follow SOPs, work permits, LOTO procedures, and safety practices during maintenance work. Participate in root cause analysis, breakdown investigations, CAPA implementation, and reliability improvement projects. Support validation, qualification, audits, and regulatory inspections. Maintain housekeeping and implement 5S practices in engineering areas.
