Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Cost Engineers.
- Create and manage Should-Cost and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) models.
- Analyze supplier cost structures and support fact-based negotiations.
- Conduct product cost breakdown and competitive cost analysis.
- Review engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing processes to identify cost drivers.
- Support Make vs. Buy decisions and New Product Development (NPD) programs.
- Partner with Engineering, Sourcing, Procurement, and Product Development teams globally.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Cost Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Engineering Operations.
- Strong understanding of product costing, cost modeling, and supplier cost analysis.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Prior team leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Should-Cost Modeling, TCO analysis, and strategic sourcing.
- Strong financial and statistical analysis capabilities.
- 2+ years of people management experience preferred.
