Hotel Housekeeper / Room Attendant
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards in guest rooms and hotel public areas. The candidate will ensure guests have a comfortable and pleasant stay by providing high-quality housekeeping services.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replace towels
- Clean bathrooms, mirrors, windows, and furniture
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust rooms and corridors
- Refill guest supplies such as toiletries, water, tea/coffee items, and tissues
- Report maintenance problems, damages, or lost items to supervisors
- Ensure rooms are ready before guest check-in
- Maintain cleanliness in lobby, hallways, elevators, and public areas
- Follow hotel hygiene, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Handle laundry collection and delivery when required
- Respond politely to guest requests and inquiries
Requirements
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred
- Basic communication skills in English or local language
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Good physical stamina and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and teamwork skills
Qualification
- Minimum high school education preferred
- Housekeeping or hospitality training is an advantage
