Role Description:
As the Associate, Branding & Communication, you'll support CMCA's communication efforts by creating engaging content, managing digital platforms, coordinating creative assets, and ensuring consistent brand communication across channels. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining creativity with execution and wants to build a career in communications within the social sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop communication content and collaterals, including newsletters, mailers, brochures, posters, publications, and videos.
- Coordinate with graphic designers and creative partners to produce high-quality communication materials.
- Manage and maintain CMCA's social media channels and website updates.
- Coordinate video and film shoots, including planning, vendor coordination, and post-production support.
- Maintain communication databases and support stakeholder outreach through newsletters and other communication channels.
- Ensure all communication materials align with CMCA's brand guidelines and quality standards.
- Stay updated with communication trends and contribute fresh ideas to strengthen CMCA's outreach.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Up to 2 years of relevant experience in communications, branding, media, or digital content.
- Proficiency in English and Kannada (reading, writing, and speaking). Experience in the social sector is an advantage.
Skills:
- Strong writing and editing skills across multiple formats.
- Experience managing social media platforms.
- Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Express, or similar design tools.
- Experience with Mailchimp or similar email marketing platforms is a plus.
- Creative thinking, visual design sensibility, and attention to detail.
- Ability to understand stakeholder needs and translate them into effective communication.
- Knowledge of additional Indian languages (especially Kannada, Tamil, or Marathi) is an added advantage.
