Job Summary
Seeta Travels & Staywood is a trusted brand in corporate travel management and business accommodations, serving clients since 2015. We are looking for an aggressive, result-driven VP of Sales to lead our business development efforts.
You will own the sales pipeline, manage and train the sales team, and secure high-value B2B/corporate contracts for our corporate hotel bookings and premium service apartments in Mumbai. The ideal candidate has deep existing relationships with corporate travel desks, HR managers, and administrative heads of major companies.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic B2B Sales: Identify, pitch, and sign corporate accounts (MNCs, SMEs) for corporate bookings, long-stay service apartments, and business travel needs.
- Revenue Growth: Drive high-volume sales initiatives to increase room occupancy rates and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Market Expansion: Explore untapped markets, corporate parks, and businesses across Mumbai to position Staywood as their primary business stay partner.
- Team Leadership & Training: Directly manage, mentor, and track the performance of the business development/sales team, helping them close deals and improve their skill sets.
- Client Relationship Management: Maintain excellent relationships with existing key accounts to maximize renewals and upsell additional travel services.
- Proposal & Contract Negotiation: Create competitive commercial proposals, negotiate contract terms, and close partnership agreements.
- Reporting: Track team sales pipelines, prepare regular sales forecasts, and report directly to executive leadership.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
- Experience: Minimum 4–5 years of strong sales experience in hospitality, corporate hotel sales, or service apartment business development.
- Network: Proven track record of handling B2B corporate sales with a strong network of corporate clients in Mumbai.
- Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiating, and presentation skills. Fluent in English is preferred.
- Attributes: Highly analytical, goal-oriented, and a proactive leader who leads by example.
