Job Overview
● This role is to own the digital core of the controller within DC-DC converter. You will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of digital core till tapeout and support it after tapeout. You will be closely working with architecture and analog design to come up with requirements of the digital core, do micro-architecture for the same, work with junior engineers to implement and integrate into the final digital core. You will be responsible to work with verification engineers to help them debug any issues in the digital core. You will also be responsible for driving synthesis, STA, LEC, ATPG, power estimation etc with help of other engineers. Post-slicon, you will be driving bench characterization in the lab.
● Typical tasks will include, but are not limited to :
o Module architecture and specification and helping with digital top architecture and specification.
o Development of RTL using Verilog/System Verilog and doing block level testing before hand-off to verification.
o Synthesis of RTL and doing quality analysis of netlist – clock gating, power, gate count analysis, gate level simulations, LEC.
o Working with verification team in helping develop and review test plan for blocks and full device.
o Perform Synthesis, STA, LEC and ATPG at digital core level.
o Work with PnR/layout engineer to close placement, CTS, Utilization, Timing for TO signoff.
o Help with validation & bring-up related activities.
REQUIREMENTS
● Experience in the range of 5 to 15 years.
● A technology-related Bachelor's degree with related experience.
● Good engineering fundamentals.
● Experience in RTL design from specifications. Experience of owning digital cores in mixed signal environments will be a plus.
● Experience in one or more digital front-end tools : Synthesis, STA, LEC, ATPG etc.
● Background in mixed-signal designs is a plus.
● Ability to debug mixed signal simulations would be a plus
● Familiarity with post-silicon bench characterization in lab would be a plus.
● Familiarity with asynchronous design would be a plus
● Exposure to DC-DC converters would be a plus.
● Excellent written and verbal presentation skills. Independent self starter
Pay: ₹3,500,000.00 - ₹5,000,000.00 per year
