About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and organized Program Associate – Scholarships to support students throughout their scholarship journey—from outreach and application to ongoing engagement and success in higher education.
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for scholarship recipients and their families, ensuring students receive the guidance, support, and resources they need to thrive academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities
Scholarship Outreach
- Promote scholarship opportunities through schools, colleges, and online platforms.
- Respond to student and parent queries promptly and professionally.
- Design outreach materials such as flyers and posters using Canva.
- Conduct outreach visits to educational institutions and communities.
Scholar Engagement & Support
- Build strong relationships with assigned scholars and their families.
- Conduct regular check-ins to monitor academic progress and student well-being.
- Facilitate virtual engagement sessions, workshops, and community-building activities.
- Identify student challenges and connect them with appropriate support.
Program Coordination
- Collect and verify student documents, including academic records, fee receipts, and renewal applications.
- Support the planning and execution of scholar engagement events.
- Maintain accurate student records and program documentation.
Data & Reporting
- Update student databases with progress notes and engagement records.
- Track trends, analyze feedback, and prepare reports for program improvement.
- Escalate critical student concerns to the Program Manager when needed.
Professional Conduct
- Maintain confidentiality of student information.
- Follow safeguarding and data protection policies.
- Document student success stories and program impact.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, Humanities, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in student coordination, mentoring, education programs, or youth development.
- Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory. Knowledge of additional regional languages is a plus.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms) and presentation tools.
- Comfortable working remotely with a personal laptop and reliable internet connection.
