Job Summary
We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in the CT/PT transformer industry. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through inspection, testing, and compliance with IS/IEC standards and customer specifications. The role involves monitoring manufacturing processes, identifying quality issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections of CT/PT transformers.
- Verify raw materials, components, and finished products as per quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with IS/IEC standards, customer specifications, and company quality procedures.
- Review inspection and test reports and maintain quality records.
- Identify non-conforming products and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with production, testing, and design teams to resolve quality issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis for customer complaints and internal quality defects.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure consistent product quality.
- Support customer inspections, third-party audits, and ISO quality audits.
- Ensure calibration status of measuring and inspection instruments.
- Promote adherence to quality, safety, and environmental procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in quality control within the CT/PT transformer or electrical manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of IS/IEC standards for instrument transformers.
- Familiarity with quality inspection tools and measuring instruments.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality documentation.

- Effective communication and teamwork.
- Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and documentation.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Experience with CAPA, 5 Why, Fishbone Analysis, and basic quality tools.
- Familiarity with ERP/SAP systems for quality documentation.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
