Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor and control food, beverage, and retail inventory across restaurant, café, and retail operations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update ERP systems with invoices, stock transfers, and consumption data.
- Manage and update Bills of Materials (BOMs) and recipe costing for menu items.
- Track and analyze Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Conduct variance analysis between theoretical and actual consumption and investigate discrepancies.
- Perform regular inventory audits and stock reconciliations.
- Monitor wastage, spoilage, and stock movement to ensure operational efficiency.
- Prepare cost control reports, MIS reports, and inventory analysis for management.
- Coordinate with kitchen, café, retail, and operations teams to ensure compliance with inventory and costing standards.
- Identify dead stock and recommend corrective actions to improve profitability
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 3–5 years of experience in Food & Beverage Cost Control, Inventory Control, or Cost Accounting within hospitality, restaurants, cafés, hotels, QSR, or retail F&B operations.
- Strong knowledge of Food Costing, Beverage Costing, Inventory Management, and Cost Analysis.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, IDS, Shawman, or similar software.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Ability to conduct inventory audits, stock reconciliation, and variance analysis.
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management, Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Candidate should be comfortable working closely with operations teams and conducting physical inventory verification.
