- This role offers the opportunity to own and shape a modern analytics environment using Power BI at scale
- You will be the go to expert for administering securing and optimizing our Power BI ecosystem ensuring data is reliable performant and accessible to the right people at the right time
- Working closely with data engineers analysts and business stakeholders you will help translate complex requirements into a robust governed BI platform that supports impactful decision making
- With 5 9 years of experience you ll bring both technical depth and practical judgment balancing governance with agility

- Administer and manage the Power BI Service including workspace management access control and tenant settings
- Configure and maintain Power BI Gateways On premises Data Gateway for secure data connectivity
- Implement and manage data security including Row Level Security RLS and role based access controls
- Monitor and optimize Power BI performance usage and capacity Premium Embedded environments preferred
- Manage dataset refresh schedules troubleshoot refresh failures and ensure data accuracy
- Maintain governance policies best practices and compliance standards for BI usage
- Support deployment pipelines and lifecycle management Dev Test Prod environments
- Collaborate with data engineers analysts and business stakeholders for reporting requirements
- Track usage metrics audit logs and provide insights for adoption improvements
- Troubleshoot issues related to reports dashboards datasets and integrations
- Ensure backup recovery and version control strategies are followed
- 2 5 years of experience in Power BI Administration or related BI roles
- Strong knowledge of Power BI Service Desktop and Gateway configuration
- Experience with Azure services Azure AD Azure SQL Data Factory etc

- Proficiency in DAX Power Query M language and data modeling concepts
- Good understanding of data warehousing ETL processes and database systems SQL Server etc
- Experience in security implementation RLS data privacy and compliance
- Knowledge of Power BI Premium capacity management is a plus
- Familiarity with REST APIs and PowerShell scripting for automation is desirable
- Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
