Rainbow International School, beeramguda is seeking a dedicated and dynamic TGT English Teacher for Grades 9 & 10 (CBSE Curriculum). The ideal candidate will have a strong command of English, experience in secondary-level CBSE teaching, and a passion for guiding students toward academic excellence.
Responsibilities
- Teach English Language and Literature as per the CBSE curriculum for Grades 9 & 10.
- Prepare and deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with NCERT/CBSE guidelines.
- Evaluate and monitor student performance through classwork, tests, projects, and assessments.
- Maintain lesson plans, student progress records, and academic documentation.
- Prepare students for CBSE Board Exams (Class 10) through practice papers and remedial support.
- Foster strong skills in reading, writing, grammar, speaking, and critical thinking.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Support and organize co-curricular literary activities such as debates, elocution, and competitions.
- Collaborate with peers, attend staff meetings, and participate in school development programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in English (required)
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) – mandatory as per CBSE norms
Experience
- Minimum 2–4 years of teaching experience in a CBSE-affiliated school at the secondary level (Grades 9–10).
- Proven ability to prepare students for Class 10 Board Exams.
Skills Required
- Excellent command of English grammar, literature, and communication skills
- Effective classroom management and student engagement strategies
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools (smart boards, Google Classroom, MS Teams, etc.)
- Creative, interactive teaching approach using multimedia and storytelling
- Strong organizational and assessment abilities
