Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily shop-floor operations to ensure that manufacturing runs efficiently, safely, and on schedule. The role involves supervising workers, coordinating production activities, maintaining quality standards, meeting production targets, and resolving operational issues. A Production Supervisor also monitors workflow, optimizes manpower utilization, reduces wastage, and ensures that products are manufactured according to specifications and delivery timelines.
1. Production & Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations from raw material procurement to final packaging.
- Ensure smooth coordination across printing, pasting, CNC cutting, assembly, fixture application, and packaging.
- Develop and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Ensure 100% on-time dispatch adherence.
2. Team & Workforce Management
- Lead and manage production supervisors, operators, and factory staff.
- Maintain discipline, productivity benchmarks, and workforce efficiency.
- Implement skill development and training initiatives.
3. Cost & Process Optimization
- Monitor material consumption, wastage, and yield efficiency.
- Improve truckload utilization and flat-pack logistics efficiency.
- Implement lean practices to reduce operational costs.
- Maintain control over rejections and rework percentages.
4. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to quality standards.
- Oversee QC checks at every stage of production.
- Maintain safety compliance and factory discipline.
- Ensure audit readiness for domestic and export clients.
5. Coordination & Reporting
- Work closely with Design, Client Servicing, and Procurement teams.
- Report production metrics, bottlenecks, and performance data to management.
- Align factory output with committed client timelines.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- upto 4 years of experience in manufacturing leadership.
- Prior experience in POSM, corrugated, printing, packaging, or display manufacturing preferred.
- Strong understanding of production planning and execution.
- Experience managing 50+ factory workforce.
- Hands-on, execution-focused leadership style
