QA Intern – Automation Testing

About the Role
We are looking for a QA Intern who is interested in software testing and automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on knowledge of Playwright and a strong interest in building reliable, high-quality web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform functional, regression, and UI testing of web applications.
- Create and maintain automated test cases using Playwright.
- Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues.
- Perform cross-browser and responsive testing.
- Participate in test planning and contribute to improving QA processes.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of Software Testing / QA concepts.
- Hands-on knowledge of Playwright is required.
- Basic knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Understanding of web applications, APIs, and browser testing.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and willingness to learn.
Internship & Conversion
This is a 3-month internship. Based on performance, technical skills, and overall evaluation during the internship, the candidate may be offered a full-time position with the company.
Preferred
- Candidates who can join immediately.
- Candidates with personal projects or academic experience in Playwright / test automation will be preferred.
- Candidates who are available to work from our HSR Layout, Bangalore office.
