-NPD jobs need to run by setter
-Create, modify, and optimize CNC/VMC programs based on engineering drawings.
-Set up CNC/VMC machines, including tool setting, fixture setup, and workpiece alignment.
-Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, machining parameters, speeds, and feeds for different materials.
-Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, process sheets, control plans, and material specifications.-Verify machine settings by conducting first
-off inspections, first-run part approvals, and sample inspections using measuring instruments.
-Ensure optimum utilization of materials, tools, cutters, inserts, and fixtures while minimizing wastage.
-Monitor machining operations and troubleshoot programming or machining issues to improve productivity and reduce cycle time.
-Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Tool Room teams to ensure smooth production.
-Maintain CNC programs, setup sheets, tooling data, and program backups.
Follow supervisor and plant manager instructions to meet daily, weekly, and shift production schedules.
-Implement and comply with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, 5S, Kaizen, and company quality procedures.
-Prepare and maintain production documents, including routing sheets, first-off inspection reports, production reports, and tool utilization logs.
-Ensure preventive maintenance of machines and report tooling or machine issues to the concerned department.Follow all safety procedures and use the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
-Perform any other duties assigned by the Production Manager or Plant Head.
Required Skills:
-Strong knowledge of CNC/VMC machine setting and programming.
-Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Haas controllers.
-Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.-Knowledge of cutting tools, tooling selection, fixtures, and machining parameters.
-Hands-on experience with measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and dial indicators.
-Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
-Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
-Experience with CAM software (Mastercam, SolidCAM, PowerMill, or similar).
-Knowledge of process improvement, cycle time reduction, and new product development (NPD),SOP.
-Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry is preferred.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
