- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Develop and execute zonal sales strategies
- Drive primary & secondary sales growth
2. Distribution Management
- Appoint and manage:
- Super stockists
- Distributors
- Channel partners
- Expand market reach and coverage
- Ensure product availability & visibility in the market
3. Team Leadership
- Lead and manage:
- Area Sales Managers (ASM)
- Sales Officers / Executives
- Train, motivate, and monitor team performance
- Conduct regular reviews and field visits
4. Market Expansion & Strategy
- Identify new markets and growth opportunities
- Launch new products and promotional campaigns
- Track competitors and provide market insights
5. Planning & Reporting (MIS)
- Sales forecasting and planning
- Monitor stock movement, billing, and claims
- Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports to management
6. Relationship Management
- Maintain strong relationships with:
- Distributors
- Retailers
- Trade partners
- Handle escalations and operational issues
Required Skills
- Strong FMCG sales & distribution experience
- Leadership and team management ability
- Good communication & negotiation skills
- Analytical and data-driven decision-making
- Knowledge of regional market (zone-specific)
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate (MBA preferred)
- 5–10 years of FMCG sales experience
- At least 2+ years in team handling/managerial role
