The Software Quality/Testing Analyst role is responsible for assisting in identifying, analyzing, and reporting defects in software applications/products. The objective of this role is to ensure that the software application/product functions as intended, meets business requirements, and is reliable for end-users. This role is critical to the success of the software testing process as it requires supporting manual tests that ensure software applications and products are functioning properly. The individual collaborates with senior team members and cross functional teams to understand requirements and assist in developing a test plan that covers functionality, usability, performance, compatibility, security, and other aspects of software. The incumbent supports the communication of results to relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and quality releases. Ultimately, the incumbent will assist in the thorough testing of software applications/products manually/ before release to ensure compliance with the user’s requirements and will support the identification of potential defects that could affect user experience or software efficiency.
