Key Responsibilities
Incoming Material Inspection
- Inspect incoming raw materials, components, and accessories against approved
specifications, purchase requirements, and inspection procedures.
- Verify dimensions, quantity, appearance, workmanship, and other defined acceptance
criteria for protective sheeting, fabrics, accessories, and related materials.
- Use appropriate measuring instruments and inspection methods to confirm material
conformity.
- Identify, label, and segregate defective or non-conforming materials to prevent
unintended use.
- Maintain accurate incoming inspection records and promptly communicate discrepancies
to Stores, Procurement, and the reporting manager.
In-Process Quality Checks
- Conduct periodic inspections during production to verify compliance with approved
product specifications and work instructions.
- Check stitching, dimensions, assembly, workmanship, finishing, and other applicable
quality parameters.
- Identify deviations or recurring defects and inform the Production team and reporting
manager without delay. • Support corrective actions and verify that identified issues are addressed before
production continues, where applicable.
Final and Outgoing Inspection
- Inspect finished products before packing and dispatch to confirm compliance with
approved specifications and customer requirements.
- Verify product dimensions, stitching, finishing, accessories, labels, appearance, and overall
workmanship.
- Confirm the product model, size, quantity, identification, and packing requirements
against the relevant order or production documents.
- Perform inspections in accordance with defined sampling plans and acceptable quality limit
(AQL) requirements, wherever applicable.
- Ensure rejected or non-conforming products are clearly identified, segregated, and
communicated for appropriate action.
Quality Documentation and Traceability
- Maintain incoming, in-process, and final inspection records, including rejection and non
conformance documentation.
- Record inspection results accurately and promptly in MS Excel, ERP systems, or approved
quality formats.
- Ensure accepted and rejected materials and products are properly identified and their
inspection status remains traceable.
- Support document control and maintain inspection records in accordance with company
procedures.
Quality Compliance and Cross-Functional Coordination
- Follow company standard operating procedures, inspection instructions, and applicable
ISO 13485 quality management requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Procurement, and other relevant departments to
resolve material and product quality concerns.
- Support investigations of customer complaints, internal rejections, and product quality
issues when required.
- Assist with corrective and preventive actions, internal audits, and continuous improvement
initiatives as assigned.
- Maintain proper care and appropriate use of inspection instruments and report any
damage or calibration concerns.
Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
