The main purpose of the role is to manage the complete project lifecycle. It covers non-technical and analytical aspects of patent applications, which may include data management, client portfolio management, patent application, and office action. The role may directly interface with inventor(s) to capture novel aspect of the invention.

Control P&L of OA Team.

Intra-team coordination.

Advise clients on IP development.

Discuss and advise inventors on various aspects of invention disclosure.

Respond to client’s queries and advise on strategic IP aspects.

Effective Filling Strategy & Patent Scope determination.

Portfolio management.

Preparing of Office Action Drafts according to UK, EP, PCT examination reports in Patent/Trademark.

Drafting invention reports, patent application, and office action.
-
Interface with inventors, patent searchers, and key stakeholders.

Preparing Policies related to IPR portfolio development.

Understand new project requirement and prepare estimates.

Perform other tasks or participate in other projects as required.

QA of work done by peers and external consultants.

Develop Europe, US, and Indian patent prosecution skills.

Bachelor’s or Post-graduate degree in computer science, electronics, information technology, or electrical with 1 to 3 years’ experience.

Knowledge of Data Management, MIS.

Proficiency in Spoken/written English.

IPR Experience will add to a great advantage.
