Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer responsible for overseeing Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities related to fabrication work. The candidate will ensure that all fabrication processes meet required standards, specifications, and project requirements while maintaining proper documentation and coordination with the head office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure all fabrication activities comply with approved drawings, QAPs, and technical specifications.
- Perform QA/QC inspections during various stages of fabrication (material inspection, fit-up, welding, testing, etc.).
- Maintain and update all QA/QC documentation, reports, and records.
- Coordinate with the fabrication team to ensure quality standards are followed.
- Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Prepare and submit regular quality reports to the Head Office.
- Liaise with third-party inspectors, clients, and classification societies (if applicable).
- Visit the Head Office as and when required for meetings, reporting, and coordination.
- Assist in audits, inspections, and certification processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Basic knowledge of fabrication processes, welding, and inspection techniques.
- Understanding of QA/QC procedures and documentation.
- Familiarity with standards, codes, and inspection methods is an added advantage.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel between site and Head Office when required.

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
