Role Overview We are looking for a highly motivated QA Engineer with strong experience in test automation, manual testing, API validation, and a growing interest in AI driven quality engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with modern automation tools like Selenium or Playwright, solid TypeScript coding skills, and exposure to LLMs, GenAI concepts, and agent based testing frameworks (e.g., MCP). You will play a critical role in ensuring high quality, scalable, and reliable software across web applications, APIs, and AI enabled features. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Functional & Manual Testing • Analyze business and technical requirements to create test scenarios, test cases, and test plans • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing • Ensure test coverage across UI, backend services, and data flows • Actively participate in requirement reviews, design discussions, and sprint ceremonies Automation Testing • Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using: o Selenium or Playwright o TypeScript as the primary automation language • Automate test scenarios for web applications across multiple browsers • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines • Actively contribute to improving test execution speed, stability, and maintainability API & Backend Testing • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, REST clients, or automation frameworks • Validate request/response payloads, status codes, and error handling • Automate API test cases and integrate them with UI automation where relevant AI / GenAI / LLM Testing (Growing Focus) • Understand and test LLM based features, AI workflows, and GenAI integrations • Validate prompt behaviour, response quality, safety, consistency, and edge cases • Assist in testing AI agents, orchestration flows, and MCP based implementations • Collaborate with developers and product teams to define AI quality benchmarks • Explore opportunities to use AI assisted testing tools to improve QA efficiency ________________________________________ Required Skills & Qualifications Core Skills • 3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance • Strong experience in manual testing fundamentals • Hands on experience with test automation tools: Selenium and/or Playwright • Strong coding experience in TypeScript • Solid understanding of automation frameworks, assertions, and test design patterns • Experience in API testing (manual + automated) • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies AI / Modern Testing Skills (Required / Nice to Have Blend) • Good conceptual understanding of: o Large Language Models (LLMs) o GenAI applications o AI agents, workflows, and MCP concepts • Experience testing AI driven features is a strong plus • Curiosity and willingness to learn emerging AI driven testing approaches ________________________________________ Nice to Have • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.) • Experience with test management tools (Jira, Xray, TestRail, etc.) • Exposure to performance testing or security testing • Experience working in large scale or enterprise applications • Prior experience contributing to test strategy or QA best practices ________________________________________ Soft Skills • Strong analytical and problem solving skills • Good communication and collaboration abilities • Ability to work independently and take ownership of quality • Proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes and tools • Interest in learning AI driven quality engineering ________________________________________ What We Offer • Opportunity to work on modern tech stacks and AI enabled products • Exposure to GenAI, LLM, and agent based systems • Collaborative engineering culture with strong ownership • Career growth towards Senior QA / SDET / Quality Architect
