Key Responsibilities
- Operations & Sales Management:
- Oversee all day-to-day store operations to ensure efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with company policies.
- Meet and exceed store sales targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and profitability goals.
- Analyze sales data and inventory reports to implement strategies that maximize revenue and reduce shrinkage.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor store associates and assistant managers.
- Create optimized staff schedules to balance labor budgets with customer service needs.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and coaching to foster professional growth.
- Customer Experience & Visual Merchandising:
- Maintain high standards of customer service, handling escalated customer inquiries or complaints professionally.
- Ensure the sales floor is visually appealing, well-stocked, and aligned with visual merchandising guidelines.
- Plan and execute in-store promotions, product launches, and seasonal events.
- Financial & Inventory Control:
- Manage store budgets, expenses, and payroll.
- Supervise inventory management, including receiving shipments, conducting stock audits, and managing product replenishment.
- Maintain strict cash handling procedures, register reconciliation, and bank deposits.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum of 2–5 years of retail management experience (Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or similar supervisory role).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.
- Skills:
- Proven track record of hitting sales targets and managing store KPIs.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency with retail Point of Sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
