Fitter (Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance)
We are hiring a Fitter (Electrical & Mechanical Maintenance) for our plywood manufacturing unit at Haploos Plyboards / Hillwud Ply, Damla, Yamunanagar.
This is a hands-on maintenance role. Candidates with an ITI, Diploma, or relevant practical experience in Electrical, Mechanical, or Fitter trades are encouraged to apply. If you are hardworking, reliable, and willing to learn, we will provide further on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical maintenance, including motors, control panels, wiring, starters, and plant breakdown repairs.
- Perform mechanical maintenance such as bearing replacement, belt alignment, pump repairs, hydraulic and pneumatic fitting work, and general machine repairs.
- Carry out preventive maintenance to minimize machine downtime and ensure smooth production.
- Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and report major issues to the Plant Head.
- Maintain basic maintenance records and assist in documenting maintenance procedures to support employee training.
Requirements
- ITI, Diploma, or practical experience in Electrical, Mechanical, or Fitter trades.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical maintenance, and machine repairs.
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete maintenance work safely and efficiently.
- Honest, responsible, and willing to learn new skills.
- Good follow-up skills with the ability to complete assigned work without supervision.
