Automation Architect
The Automation Architect plays a pivotal dual role as both hands-on developer and solution architect, partnering with stakeholders to design, build, and deliver robust automation solutions across all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC). This role is responsible for architecting well-engineered, scalable information systems where software is the core enabler, ensuring solutions meet business objectives, technical standards, and customer expectations.
The Automation Architect brings deep technical expertise, architectural vision, and innovation mindset to deliver hybrid, multi-tool automation solutions, while also mentoring teams and providing technical leadership.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and implement automation systems and backend services, acting as both solution architect and hands-on developer.
- Architect and deliver hybrid use-case solutions, integrating multiple tools, frameworks, and platforms to address complex business and operational needs.
- Lead automation design decisions across projects, ensuring solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and performance-driven.
- Stay current with emerging automation technologies, tools, and industry best practices to drive continuous innovation, productivity gains, and cost optimization.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues and defects in production systems with a focus on system stability and reliability.
- Produce and review High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements, validate assumptions, and ensure use cases accurately reflect business intent.
- Participate across all project phases — from discovery and planning to implementation, deployment, and optimization — providing automation and architectural leadership.
- Act as a technical mentor, guiding developers on coding standards, design principles, architecture patterns, and best practices.
- Promote engineering excellence through code reviews, design walkthroughs, and knowledge sharing.
Skills & Expertise You Bring
- Strong hands-on expertise in Core Java, OOP concepts, design principles, data structures, algorithms, multithreading, and concurrency.

- Experience with containers, microservices architecture, and RESTful APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple tools and technologies, selecting the right combination to build effective automation solutions.
- Solid understanding of system design and architecture, with experience transitioning from low-level implementation to high-level solution design.
- Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
- Ability to balance delivery execution with architectural governance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor, influence, and lead technical discussions.
Experience & Qualifications
- 7–10 years of backend development experience.
- 3+ years of experience in solution design and architecture.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electronics & Communication, Information Technology, Computer Science, or MCA.
