The Role
As a Project Information & Data Coordinator with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
The Project Information & Data Coordinator will be responsible for managing, governing, and assuring the quality of all engineering and project data across systems and disciplines. Role will be responsible to ensures that project data is accurate, consistent, structured, and compliant with client and organizational requirements throughout the project lifecycle. On large or complex projects, the Project Information & Data Coordinator will report to Project Information Manager and acts as the focal point for all data-related activities across engineering, procurement, construction, and handover phases.
Data Management & Governance
- Ensure availability, integrity, consistency, completeness, and reliability of project data across all systems.
- Maintain structured data repositories (Project Data Warehouse / digital tools).
- Enforce project and client data standards, specifications, and governance frameworks.
Engineering Data Management
- Manage engineering data across disciplines ensuring alignment with project requirements.
- Ensure data uniqueness, traceability, and lifecycle value of asset data.
- Support data-centric execution approach across engineering workflows.
Class Library & Standards Management
- Create and Manage class libraries (e.g., equipment classes, attributes, UOMs) using standard tools.
- Ensure correct classification and standardization of asset data.
Data Integration & Interface Management
- Manage data exchange between systems as per Data Exchange Agreements (DEA).
- Coordinate interfaces between project tools, client systems, and third-party platforms.
Data Quality Assurance
- Monitor and control data quality through validation, audits, and reporting.
- Identify and coordinate to resolve data inconsistencies across systems and disciplines.
Supplier & Vendor Data Management
- Define and manage supplier data requirements and ensure compliance.
- Coordinate data submission, validation, and integration from vendors.
Reporting & Analytics
- Generate dashboards and reports to support project tracking and decision-making.
- Provide data quality and completeness reports to project stakeholders.
Data Handover & Archiving
- Ensure structured, validated, and timely data handover to the client.
- Manage data archiving and close-out activities.
Team Coordination
- Shall report to Project Information Manager (PIM) on a project and provide required support to PIM for the final data delivery to the client.
- Coordinate with discipline leads to ensure compliance with data requirements.
- Provide training and awareness on data management processes.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of engineering data lifecycle and EPC workflows.
- Knowledge of data governance, class libraries, and data standards. Experience with Class library development tool.
- Experience with project digital tools (EDMS, data warehouses, integration tools, SmartPlant and AVEVA suites, etc.).
- Strong analytical and data quality management skills, Experience with Power BI Dashboard.
- Experience with SharePoint setup and management.
- Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Problem-solving and attention to detail.
Experience & Qualifications
- Engineering degree or relevant technical qualification with minimum 10 years’ experience in relevant role.
- Experience in engineering data management / information management roles in large EPC or digital execution projects.
- Expertise with data integration, digital execution, and handover requirements handling.
- Experience in Class Library setup and management tool (Aveva ISM).
- Preferred to have previous working knowledge on Information management tools like Aveva AIM, SmartPlant or Aveva - 2D, 3D Engineering design tools, Aveva Engineering.
- Good to have knowledge on document Management tools, Procurement tools, Advance Work Packaging tools for Construction and Commissioning management tools.
- Added advantage of having working knowledge on Agile scrum methodology, knowledge on SharePoint Data warehouse Setup and management, Power automate, Power BI and analytics tools.
