Job Summary:
The Maintenance Officer is responsible for maintaining and ensuring smooth operation of all machinery, equipment, utilities, and facility systems. The role includes preventive maintenance, breakdown handling, utility monitoring, documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety and GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machines and utility equipment.
- Ensure smooth functioning of electrical, mechanical, and utility systems.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, machine history, and spare parts.
- Coordinate with production departments for machine maintenance schedules.
- Monitor utilities such as AHU, compressor, generator, HVAC, water systems, and electrical panels.
- Troubleshoot machine and equipment failures and minimize downtime.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts and tools.
- Follow GMP, safety, and company compliance procedures.
- Support installation and qualification of new machines and equipment.
- Supervise technicians and maintenance staff activities.
- Maintain housekeeping and safety standards in maintenance areas.
- Coordinate with external vendors for repair and AMC activities.
- Prepare maintenance reports and submit them to management.
Educational Qualification:
Experience:
- 5 to 8 years of experience in maintenance department of Pharma, Cosmetic, FMCG, or Manufacturing industry.
Required Skills:
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of GMP & safety practices
- Documentation and reporting skills
- Team handling and coordination
Working Conditions:
- Manufacturing / Plant environment
- Rotational shifts if required

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
