Role - Electrical design engineer
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Nerul, Navi Mumbai. You will be responsible for creating, testing, and reviewing electrical schematics, power distribution layouts, and control system designs for technical projects.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare electrical schematics, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and cable schedules using AutoCAD Electrical or relevant design software. Select, size, and specify components including switchgear, transformers, circuit breakers, and protection relays. Conduct load calculations, voltage drop analyses, and short-circuit studies. Collaborate with project managers, site technicians, and vendors to ensure designs meet site specifications and safety compliance. Ensure all designs adhere to IS/IEC standards and local statutory safety codes.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in electrical design and drafting.
Proficiency in AutoCAD / EPLAN and standard electrical calculation tools.
Strong knowledge of electrical standards, power distribution systems, and control panels.
Good communication skills and proximity/ability to commute daily to Nerul, Navi Mumbai.
Pay: ₹25,037.16 - ₹54,641.67 per month
