Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Business Development Intern who can help us identify potential clients, generate leads, communicate with businesses, and support the sales team in converting opportunities.
This role is ideal for students or freshers who want to build a career in sales, business development, digital marketing, IT services, client communication, and B2B lead generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential clients from local business areas, industrial zones, and online platforms
- Generate leads from LinkedIn, Google, business directories, websites, and social media
- Contact potential clients through calls, emails, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn
- Understand client requirements related to websites, SEO, social media, software, automation, and digital solutions
- Schedule meetings or demos for the senior business development team
- Maintain lead data in Excel, Google Sheets, or CRM
- Follow up with prospects and update daily activity reports
- Support in preparing proposals, presentations, and client communication
- Assist in local market outreach campaigns for Ahmedabad-based businesses
- Learn how to pitch IT services, web development, digital marketing, and AI automation solutions
Required Skills
- Good communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati
- Understanding of business development and sales
- Confidence to speak with business owners and decision-makers
- Good internet research and lead generation skills
- Basic knowledge of LinkedIn, Google Search, Excel, and email communication
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and target-oriented
Preferred Skills
- Interest in IT services, websites, digital marketing, SEO, AI, or automation
- Prior internship or experience in sales/marketing is a plus
- Ability to create simple pitch messages and follow-up communication
- Basic knowledge of CRM tools will be an advantage
